Worked with former presidential advisor to George W. Bush and communications campaign manager, Karen Hughes on a project in 2014

To give you an idea of where this all started: I grew up running around the house shouting "I'm BOB DOLE" and belting songs from The One and Only, Genuine, Original Family Band from memory — so it's no surprise that one of my first leadership roles at age 16 was drumline captain. I went on to win Best Freshman of the Year and successfully ran for Sophomore Representative, earning a seat on the Band Council alongside mostly senior leadership.

More seriously and more recently, I've founded a local and state trade association (in 2021 and 2023 respectively), a gala (2024), and built the largest coalition of 100+ organizations that convenes and advocates for startups and innovation at the Texas and U.S. Capitol in a way that had never been done before. After a few years, a couple more events bridge innovation and government, so I've been recognized as someone who raised the ecosystem and blazed the trail with both vision and execution for this sector.

I've served on the board of the Texas Association of Business, as a Fellow at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and as a leader in the American Enterprise Institute Leader (in their Leadership Network Cohort 2025). Since 2017, I've also been a member of the American Association of Political Consulting as a multi-award-winning political consultant and highly sought-after strategist for mayoral campaigns in Austin, Fort Worth, and New York City, as well as Texas state legislative races. I only take on high-stakes projects, and all were successful, and all featured the kind of unique, tech-forward strategy that has defined my unique approach borrowed from launching startups of my own and in accelerators and venture studios.

My work includes launching the state's first innovation voting resource: the Texas Venture Voter Guide, a compilation of 60+ Texas State Legislators across the state who championed the statewide innovation economy. Most recently, I helped elect a slate of Texas State Representatives on Election Day 2024 — and I'm proud to have pioneered the use of artificial intelligence as part of new strategy and execution in political consulting.

In 2018, I was tapped to advise the re-election teams of Austin Mayor Steve Adler and Fort Worth Mayor Betsy Price, where I created and led multi-award-winning campaigns using technology, social media, influencers, memes, etc — tactics innovative enough to prompt the introduction of new judging categories. Both campaigns were recognized by the American Association of Political Consulting with a Gold and Silver Pollie Award (respectively) for "Best Digital or Internet Campaign," and both were finalists for the Campaigns & Elections’ Reed Awards.

Also in 2018, I partnered with community leaders and local tech startup founders to launch ATX Startup Vote, a civic initiative that brought nearly 20 CEOs from top startup and tech companies together to promote Election Day participation across their organizations.

I've been recognized by Mayor Adler on two separate occasions for my service. In 2016, I became the youngest appointee to a seven-person committee for the City of Austin's Grant for Technology Opportunities Program, advising the Technology and Telecommunications Commission on a city fund for nonprofits addressing the digital divide. In 2017, I was selected as the first official ambassador to the City of Austin’s exclusive CityWorks Academy, where I met with the heads of nearly 40 city departments to gain insider access to local government operations. I also met with and advised the City of Austin’s communications team on social media strategy.

In 2019, one of the most life-changing experiences of my career came with my acceptance into the World Economic Forum's Global Shapers program, which is an exclusive network for emerging young leaders. That membership led to an invitation from the UN Foundation to speak at Davos as a panelist on the topic of emerging leadership.
